Dave is a serial entrepreneur and serves as a Partner of DWO ASCENT Syndication.

His unconventional journey started as a Certified Public Accountant, which served as the foundation for his role as EVP & CFO for TynanGroup, where he was responsible for all financial aspects of the corporation, including the oversight of the company’s Finance Department. In addition, Mr. Odell leads the firm’s Real Estate Development Division, where he integrates his finance background into due diligence and deal structuring. During his 25+ year tenure with Tynan Group, where he has successfully managed the double-digit growth TynanGroup experiences every year and positions the company to take advantage of the upsurge in the real estate development and hospitality industries. In addition to his work at TynanGroup, Dave also founded MedBridge where he serves as President & CEO where he leads finance and partnership management for MedBridge.

As the Managing Director, Partner, and Co-Founder of DWO ASCENT, Josh manages the due diligence and underwriting process for prospective investments, and he enjoys supporting existing portfolio companies. Josh also keeps his skills sharpened as an Executive Producer at Pivot Speed Studio, a Partner at DP Ventures, a startup foundry, and through his management consulting at Iterative Ascent.

Prior to his current ventures and engagements, Josh was the Founder and CEO of Quarter Zero (QØ), where over eight years he powered the potential of 1,000+ young entrepreneurs from 40 states and 15 countries with alumni ventures valued at over $50m. Prior to QØ, he served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Ashoka’s Youth Venture, an organization that promotes a global culture of youth that initiated positive change.

Josh loves cycling, playing Kubb, and lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Lucy and two children: Quincy and Miles.
